The Ascoferro Family started up in 1910 by a man called, Joseph Ascoferro. He was retarded but had a thing for picking horses to win. He used to hustle men out of their money, and people joined him; one of those men where Harry DeCavalcante. Harry and Joseph used to collect money for bets that Joey won, sometimes didn't go so well; Joseph was arrested for battery and was given a lengthy sentence. Harry took over his betting and failed at it, so he branched to new activities: Bootlegging, murder for hire, boosting cars, prostitution and weapons trading and started a Criminal Empire in New York 'DeCavalcante'. The mob was successful until 1940 when the war started to take the men away.
Harry seen an other family move to Las Vegas, and another to Miami so Harry wanted to move. He called on a kid, Nicky Cremonesi to put the big gloves on and move the family to L.A. Harry died and Nicky kept the name in his honor.
