In order to make sure you can fit the role propperly you must abide by these rules and, answer a few questions.
Rule #1: Make sure you're valid.
If you know who the perpetrator is out of character, that dosn't mean you know who it is in character.
(In certain cases that may not apply. Giving that your character knows who it is, or witnessed it happen.)
Rule #2: Prolong the scenes.
Make sure you talk to people in the area for eye-witnesses testimonies, don't try to solve the case quickly.
In example, stating that you found something right away that incriminates a person,
Rule #3: Don't abuse authority.
In any case in the RPG, wether it be being a doorman, a mod, an admin or, IC authority.
Never in any case do I want to see anyone abusing authority. Big egos do not get you any kind
of respect with in this role play.
